It's now been a month since I have written but I have to tell my story of being locked out of my sleeping quarters at Youth Conference at 2 a.m.
So.... my friend and I were sharing a queen size air mattress.
We were talking really late (3 adult woman), and had decided to try to sleep.
I was not falling asleep and on top of that the air mattress was starting to go really flat.
I decided I needed to go to the bathroom and Miriam came with me, while Shaunte was already asleep with ear plugs in and on a full air mattress.
It did not dawn on us that we would need to get back in after we came back because the door was a door that locked automatically every time it was closed.
We were locked out!!!
Shaunte in there snoring with ear plugs in!!
Half and hour later and a lot of banging, yelling, waking up a lot of people(the boys were in the next room) laughing hysterically, and entertaining someone named Jeff, Shaunte opens the door.
She took one look at us, says"dumb and dumber, get in here now". We finally get back in. Yeah!!
Some air bed repair and a lot more talking and laughing and we finally fall asleep.
About 2.5 hours later we had blaring music over all the speakers in the building waking us up.
Not very much sleep, but I seriously have never laughed so hard in my life.
Great fun!!!

If you get locked out of the tent at girls camp...I am not opening for you.
Just read and laughed my butt off all over again. Funny how sleep deprivation and a locked door can bring tears of laughter so fast. That was a kick in the pants fun time. And we are not Dumb and Dumber!!!!
